Maya is known for her contagious energy, positive mentorship, and deep connection with kids. With over 15 years of experience working with youth, she designs programs that blend movement, wellness, and self-development—creating spaces where kids can build confidence, express themselves, and have fun doing it. Whether she’s leading a dance fitness class or guiding a self-esteem workshop, Maya brings heart, intention, and joy into everything she does. Her zone of genius lies in her continued generosity, authentic leadership, and ability to truly connect with each child.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Leisure Sciences from Concordia University and founded Dose of Happy in 2018—a company that specializes in  after-school programs, summer day camps, and fitness classes for both kids and adults. In addition to her work with youth, Maya  frequently facilitates workshops in schools and community spaces. She has organized and hosted numerous community events, sat as a community member on various school boards, and currently serves as a municipal councillor in the Town of Mount Royal.
